What is Belly Circumference?
Belly circumference does not hold any medical indication for a pregnancy like Fundal height does. It is simply a fun way to track the growth of your baby belly*.
How do I measure my belly circumference with the Mommy Measure?
Place the Mommy Measure around the back, holding the beginning of the tape on the widest point of the pregnant belly (usually at the naval or just below). Wrap the remaining tape around the opposite side and then under the start end of the tape. Mark the size on the Belly Growth Scale at the inches mark with a heart sticker once or twice a month. Below each heart shaped sticker, record a milestone that has occurred since your last measurement and recording.
*Please note that every belly grows differently. We recommend measuring your belly circumference only once or twice a month.
